The challenge was to boost NIU Planet’s digital visibility and engagement in order to drive real-world participation in community clean-ups and environmental events. As Social Media and Content Manager, I led digital marketing efforts across platforms — crafting a content strategy, managing paid and organic campaigns, and optimizing performance through data analysis and reporting.

Overview: Created and executed NIU Planet’s digital marketing strategy with a focus on brand visibility, audience education, and event turnout. Produced platform-specific content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Ads, and led the development of monthly content calendars, branded materials, and short-form campaigns. Built reporting systems and streamlined workflows to improve execution and scale outreach.

Goal: Grow NIU Planet’s brand awareness in South Florida and drive attendance to local eco-friendly events like beach clean-ups and coral reef restoration. Increase engagement, establish the startup’s digital footprint, and attract early investor interest through performance-driven content and clear brand storytelling.
